A RARER SHAPE!
I purchased a D&L collection many many years ago and there are some interesting shaped bowls from that collection about to come your way. This is a flared nut bowl shape, spatula footed with a scalloped edge. Very tough shape to find and while this listing is for the green one, I encourage you to look at the other ones on the site so you can perhaps put together the grouping for yourself – what I am saying is that this collector was successful in putting together several different colors in this shape. Impressive! It took him YEARS. You can do it in a few clicks.
This bowl has a nice shine to it that you can’t see in the photos. The colors are pretty and while the center is lightly or somewhat missed spray, the green glass masks that when indoors.
The bowl flares out nicely. Because of the spatula feet, you don’t even need an easel to hold this one. Just tilt it on its feet and you are good to go. Displays beautifully this way!
*Tiny fleck off of a prunt underneath a foot.
Made in the early 1900s.
