Description

A RARE PITCHER!

Here is a very difficult to find item! It is a carnival glass pitcher made in India… I believe this to be the Sarita pattern and likely made by Jain in the late 1920s or early 1930s. Carwile’s book does not list a pitcher, although I am certain this can’t be the only one. I’ve never seen one before.

What is interesting is that the spout on the pitcher looks hand formed! Of course the handle is applied and hand formed as well. Such an interesting item to add to your collection!

Some nice pinks on this one as opposed to just gold iridescence like most India carnival glass!

Some lines in the base that are from the making. Recently purchased a nice India carnival glass collection and this was part of it. If you are looking quickly enough, you may find the matching tumbler also on our site.

Made in the late 1920s or early 1930s.
