**SELDOM SEEN PLATE**

This is an APACHE SCOUT Small Plate made by Big Pine Key Glass Works.  It is signed on the back.

It is a Limited Edition (most Ltd Ed are 200+-)…Frederick Remmington’s APACHE SCOUT.

Big Pine Key Glass Works (BPKGW) on Big Pine Key in Florida. This small glass making concern was owned by Les Cunningham, a former Imperial Glass Company employee. It only operated for 7 years, from 1965-69 and from 1970-73. This was one of 7 different collector plates made by this firm. It is not known how many of the Apache Scout Plates were made, but most of the other 6 had runs of between 100-250. That’s not very many of any of them, so these are quite scarce. The initials “CI” on the back are Les Cunningham’s mark. Keep your eyes peeled for this little gem.
