This is much better in person than in these photos! On one side of the basket the strawberries are YELLOW and they are surrounded by BLUE iridescence!  My two favorite colors!! The other side has purple with blue! Just an amazingly artistic job here!

This is a signed Robert Hansen Inverted Strawberry basket.  It is not a normal basket but one that has been whimsied for a flared wide open mouth.  If you want to see what the basket looks like the regular way, email me and I will show you mine.  This one has truly been manipulated and it’s a good thing too because you get to see that beautiful iridescence inside!!  Truly a super cool piece from every aspect!!

Oh I didn’t mention the interior which is ablaze with yellow and some rainbow! Marked Near Cut as you’d expect!  And get this… even the underside of the handle is iridized!! Yep, every inch of this basket is colorfully iridized… not a spot missed!!

Given the odd shape of this basket and the brilliant coloring, this is a cheap ask.

Robert Hansen was a brilliant iridizer of glass and this is an amazing example of his talent!  His pieces are not prevalent and are highly collectible!  Although I don’t know what year this was made, the Hansen brothers (Robert and Ron) started doing this in the 1960s.
