The Amethyst Swan has not been reproduced.  This is an old one and well iridized.  The iridescence on this one allows the Amethyst color to show thru.  Does your gaggle of  Swans include an Amethyst one?.

This is called a Pastel Swan in many of the guides, but, there is nothing Pastel about Amethyst.

You can call it a Salt Dip if you want, but, the April 1915 Butler Bros ad calls it a SWAN MATCH HOLDER.

~NO CHIPS OR CRACKS~ As with all of these I have seen, there is some excess glass.

Approximate dimensions:

3 3/4 inches high.

4 1/2 inches long.

2 1/8 inch base.
