Description
WHEN I TURNED THIS BOWL OVER, IT PUT A SMILE ON MY FACE!!
This is Fenton’s FEATHER STITCH…some say these were originally a Coin Dot mould that was re-tooled…anyway… It is a Scarce base color–VASELINE Glass with a Scarce Edge treatment for this pattern and the pattern itself is somewhat Scarce. So, lets call this one SCARCE… The Marigold iridescence over the vaseline gives it a different yellowish look.
I only see only 1 in this color selling at auction since 1994… I used a small handheld 3″ long – 12 LED Black Light for a few of the photos.
Made in 1915+.
~NO CRACKS~There is a small flat chip on the back of a ruffle…about 1 o’clock on the back photo white background.
