FROM MY COLLECTION TO YOURS!
Here is my early 1900s, Northwood FEATHERS vase in green opalescent glass! I’ve had this for awhile, why you ask? I love the top scalloping and how it is tall then shorter all the way around! It’s like scalloped and ruffled and so artistic!
Also the pattern is great!
What I couldn’t show in the photos very well is how cool it looks from the inside. The shorter scallops are where the panels or ribs are and from the inside they look darker green compared to where the higher scallops are that are totally opal. Very neat effect!
Collectors believe that opalescent glass preceded carnival glass in production.
Made in the early 1900s.
