Do you like Dugan-esque dramatic 3n1 edge? Here you can see it on a NORTHWOOD Grape Leaves bowl! I have always thought that factory workers from Dugan moved on over to Northwood and brought the edge with them but perhaps that is just fantasy!
This bowl is much better in person than in my photos… the interior is a lovely gold and then outside of the pattern is the most beautiful array of pastel rainbow colors… aqua, yellow, pink, etc and it is generous AND consistent. You can get a good glimpse of it in the photo in the edge swoops.
This is a treasured edge treatment and not found on many Northwood bowls.
The bowl carries the Blossoms & Palms exterior pattern.
Signed N in the center.
Made in the early 1900s.
