Well well well… this is a tough one for me to let go of but here is my ice blue corn vase! I got this from an outstanding Northwood ice blue collector who only bought the best! I am looking at this on my vase shelf and struggling to let it go but if someone needs it for their corn vase collection, I’m giving you the opportunity to purchase it.
These are not easy to come by.
It is downright beautiful… the frost is heavier at the top rim which makes this such a super cool vase (was there a pun there?)
Glamorous pastels lie intricately in the pattern!
No damage to report. I will note that there are two kernels that were just shy of completely filling in – they are not chipped. Also typical lines around the bottom that are likely stress from when made.
Stalk base. Ice blue that looks aqua almost. Glorious. Signed N on the bottom exterior.
Buy the best!
Made in the early 1900s.
