FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION!
YOU RARELY SEE THESE!
This is an amazing water pitcher – that I have always called a cider pitcher until I was corrected. It has the most brilliant coloring and alas, my photos really do not do this justice. Outside it is so hot and humid my camera keeps fogging over and inside I just can’t seem to get it right sometimes. One of the photos is “as I see it sitting next to me” so please excuse the paperwork underneath it! I’m awestruck by this piece!
BUT trust me… it has been in my collection for over 15 years for a reason… the colors! I see so much pink and yellow and others… the mould strike is crisp… the pattern has amazing height… honey amber is just fantastic… the handle is iridized in colors too!
Overall a great piece… and the bottom is so cool too.
No damage but note the heat/annealing openings at the one side of the pitcher. Just a small manufacturing note… not a crack. Some sticker residue that I didn’t remove because I am out of remover.
Made in the early 1900s.
