DELIGHTFUL and TOUGH TO FIND REALLY!
This is a ruffled, wonderfully iridized and designed PEACH OPALESCENT File & Fan compote! It is so dainty and beautiful with the scalloping on the top rim and the base! The up-down alternating ruffles add to the daintiness and delight of this piece!
Interior has great peach opal pastel color iridescence! More colors than we are accustomed to seeing on peach opal! Love the rainbow ring!
The opal is generous and well applied!
This is a neat pattern, made by Westmoreland Glass. Check out how the bottom is scalloped and there are fans in each one! Considered “not an easily found pattern” according to Barb Chamberlain’s ICGA Town Pump article from Sept. 2010.
Made in the early 1900s.
