Here we have a FARMYARD Spittoon Shaped Bowl in Emerald Green. This is made for D. Singleton Bailey by Fenton using the mold acquired from MIMI Glass. This is signed <DBS> numbered on the base. The exterior is the Jewled Heart pattern. Blue, Yellow & Magenta iridescence.
This is not made using the original Dugan Farmyard or Victor (Jeweled Heart) mould. The Stones (MIMI Glass) had the mold made in Cambridge as a copy of the old one…they were only in business 2 years, December 1973-1975. Singleton Bailey acquired the mould in 1980 and Fenton made quite a few items and colors for him using this mould.
Note: All DBS items are limited…I do not have a count on this one, but I am sure it is less than 75. I assume this was a second since the ruffling is not completed all around.
