Description
WOW – SUPER LARGE and BEAUTIFULLY VICTORIAN!!
Here is a STUNNING piece of glass… likely Czech or early enough to be Bohemian! The enameling is beautiful! The iridescence is beautiful! Base has a polished pontil! Super high quality art glass!
Carnival glass collectors call bowls like this “Aurora Pearls!” No damage at all… one small comment to make that the iridescence wasn’t applied evenly so you see some missing spots but primarily near the crimping so not really all that noticeable in my opinion. See the photos. Oh the glass itself is NOT a milk glass… it’s not opaque… it’s an opaline with some nice fire to it!! Look it up… the only other one that I know of with the butterflies sold in 2008 for $800.
