EXQUISITE!!
This is a lovely set of vases!! You will note they are zipper cut vertically and have a wonderful green glass medallion applied with a sunburst cut! Both have sterling silver tops which are hallmarked HP&S etc. I am unsure of the silversmiths… but I was told that the vases were made by Stuart & Sons who were affliated with Thomas Webb from time to time.
The vases are beautiful and the photos don’t do them justice but some small things to mention… a few nicks on the square feet which are vulnerable, and dents on the silver which I seem to see more often than not.
I will say that I’ve never seen a pair like this before!!
