BIG and BEAUTIFUL!
Here is a wonderful antique dark amethyst Dugan Cherries bowl! This is the tougher to find collar based bowl – not the footed… and it is quite large!
Brilliant multi-color iridescence. Three spots of junk in the glass near the middle which seems to be a tendency in a lot of Dugan amethyst bowls. The one that appears dark gray and huge, is really a silver coloring.
Pardon the glaring on the cute little button scallops. No damage noted. Back pattern is Jeweled Heart and the back is a delightful black amethyst – noniridized.
Made in the early 1900s.
