This is a Fenton BIRMINGHAM AGE HERALD Amethyst Plate. This one has a Satin Finish to the iridescence and it is a beauty in my opinion. This has the Wide Panel exterior. It is a rather hard to find LETTERED ITEM. This one was mine…9 years later, I have upgraded.
I carried papers from the age of 8 until I was a Senior in High School. Later in the Music Business, I visited this building many times … It is now the home of Red Mountain Entertainment at 2107 5th Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35203.
