WHEN DO YOU SEE THESE CENTERPIECE BOWLS?!
Answer: Like never. They are scarce and so when you see one you have to buy it before someone else does. Of the animal patterns, Panther is really a super cool one! Butterfly and Berries on the outside and the stalking panthers on the inside.
This bowl is not only rare but in excellent physical condition! Often the claws have damage but not here… just a bit of dirt from the making is all that is present here.
Iridescence? Well lookie here! SO MANY COLORS! Notably that the very interior is sprayed lightly and in some areas missing. No idea what happened there but what is nice is that the blue glass comes through and that is pretty! If this didn’t have this missing color on the inside, this would be priced well over $2000. As per usual, we consider iridescence in our pricing.
(It is interesting that so many panther bowls (of all shapes and sizes) have weaker iridescence in the middle.)
