TOO COOL FOR WORDS!

… but I will sure try!  It is rarer to find a Garland rose bowl with this tightly closed top! It seems fitting to call it a volcano top, don’t you think?  Definitely a whimsey version! This beauty was made by Fenton.

The iridescence has terrific coloring around the top which really draws your attention to the oddity of that tightly closed top!

Made in the early 1900s.  It’s always a delight to find more unusually shaped pieces that folks call a whimsey!

Note at the top you can see embedded dirt on one of the scallops.
