NOT A ROSE BOWL!
RARE SHAPE!
Here is an interesting piece to say the least! It is a Garland patterned piece by Fenton but it is not the typical rose bowl shape… this is clearly a nut bowl!
The Garland pieces are typically silver on blue glass… here you see brilliant rainbow coloring on the exterior where it matters! On the interior spotty and missing iridescence but who really cares there.
This is a piece that warrants landing in a good collection of scarcer items. It does have a little missing glass… along the side of one of the legs -along a ridge, the glass has dislodged or has chipped off as you can see in the photos. You can also see a couple of bits of roughness along a leaf or two. Definitely these things should not keep you from purchasing this rare item… but we have priced it fairly considering them.
