RARE and ODD COLOR!
So here you have a JIP bowl in the Lotus and Grape pattern… which is a rare shape to be sure! HOWEVER, now you have a smoke color… it is NOT marigold and it is NOT vaseline (nor does it glow).
This bowl is a super cool piece of early Fenton!
Wonderful marigold iridescence with bold neon colors as you can see! And this pattern is just delightful like a quilt!
Again, glass color is highly unusual and rare.
Note the large bubble in one of the feet. While this bubble is encapsulated, it has opened a tiny bit on the bottom of the foot as you can see.
