Description
EXCELLENT PIECE!
Here is a really cool piece of carnival glass! This round and flared bowl has Stippled Rays on the front and Scale Band on the back. It also features a very prominent BRACKET edge which only Fenton made.
Glass color has great cherry red in it… this is technically called REVERSE AMBERINA, which is highly desirable to collectors! Reverse amberina has yellow at the base, then red, then goes yellow again at the tips… here that bracket edge is all yellow and provides quite the spectacular display for us!
Iridescence is robust with golds and pinks on the interior with multi-color on the exterior.
A few tiny bubbles in the base with a very small flat nick by one of them. So hard to see and I couldn’t get it to show up in the photos well. It’s insignificant really.
Made in the early 1900s.
