This is the only one of these I have owned. It’s a Northwood carnival glass whiskey decanter! How cool is this?! From the early 1900s. Classic grape & cable pattern here.
Such cool coloring here… neon neck, then gunmetal for part of the pattern and then back to neon as you travel down the decanter! Love it! There is a small swipe of missing color as shown.
The pattern is prominent and looks great!
The stopper has tape on it which I didn’t remove and it does not seem to be damaged… I will say it is difficult to get it to stand straight in the decanter so it needs more tape or some other solution. This is common with these but wanted to point it out nevertheless.
A neat piece! The decanter has a slight wobble… this is mould blown so the bottom is not always stable. Can easily be stabilized by setting on something like a doily.
Made in the early 1900s.
