NEAT ONE!
Here is a very cool, nutmeg stained custard glass Northwood vase! As you can see it has three pillars with drapery in between, hence the name drapery.
The vase has great consistency with regard to the staining!
There are some unusual black marks on one side as shown. They are not scratches and almost look like pen marks so maybe they will come off but I didn’t want to mess with it.
Sits flat and doesn’t wobble and sits on its collar not toes. Has a neat squared but ruffled top.
Glows brightly under a UV light.
Sorry about the poor photos; the weather is awful and I don’t have my photo booth set up due to working from home.
Made in the early 1900s.
