Large Size 8″ Hen On Nest aka CHICS, Covered Butter or Candy Dish in Blue Carnival Glass. The top is multi-color, a true oil on water look and the inside is not iridized.
The base is iridized inside and out with multi-colors present. Since it is iridized on both sides, these bases are always darker than the tops which are iridized on the exterior only.
Sowerby was an English glass maker! Here is your chance to get one of these harder to find sets with NO damage!
