RED, RED!
This is a Grape pattern Vase. It has been pinched in the middle and 3 of the top crimps have been pulled into flames. Interestingly, there is 1 crimp between a flame, then 2 crimps next, then 3 crimps. We know this was a glass master using his skills to make a different shape…this is a Whimsey. As such, being a Gibson item, it will be a limited production item.
You do not have to ask if it is Red, all you need do is look at it….It is RED. The iridescence is mainly blue, gold, green colors. It is signed Gibson in the base.
