TRUE PEPITA AT ITS FINEST!
Here is an amazing piece of art glass from my PERSONAL COLLECTION! Pepita (some call it Grenada Verde) is blood red that transitions into the lovely soft green papillon glass. It is iridized so well – the colors are so rich!
The red portion is generous and super dark, which to me makes this top notch! You’ll see some bold blue and yellow iridescence on that red glass which if just fabulous! On the green you see some aqua and other pastels! It’s quite the eye candy!
The vase or giant rose bowl sits flat and has a pontil bottom.
On one side there is a bit of roughness as shown.
Love the top on this vase!
Excellent Bohemian glass! This is a great piece for the art glass lover as well as the carnival glass collector!
Made in 1900-1905.
