The Amethyst Swan has not been reproduced.  This is an old one and STUNNING!!  Just look at it! It is TRULY what carnival glass should look like! Featuring chartreuse, magenta and other bold colors and shine!

This is called a Pastel Swan in many of the guides, but, there is nothing Pastel about Amethyst.

You can call it a Salt Dip if you want, but, the April 1915 Butler Bros ad calls it a SWAN MATCH HOLDER.

Head is pointing down on this one. One burnt iridescence spot on back of head and spotting interior iridescence  as is typical of a lot of Dugan amethyst glass.

I’ve had one of these before with the head kind of level and not as good of coloring. This one is much better!

Buy pretty glass!

~NO CHIPS OR CRACKS~ As with all of these I have seen, there is some excess glass.
